Welcome back to DIY Wedding!! If you missed Part 1, click here. Today we will take a look at a hand-made Tossing Bouquet.
Materials used are:
6in Styrofoam Ball
Pencils (sharpened)
Liquid Glass
Pins
Flowers
Floral Tape
Bouquet Band (for around the stems)
With the help of Close To My Heart's Exclusive Cricut Cartridge, Art Philosophy, and the idea from fellow CTMH Consultant Christine, Roses and Gerbera Daisies were cut and glued together.
Each pencil is wrapped in floral tape, and then it is wrapped as a whole enough to hold it together while being stuck into the styrofoam ball. It is then wrapped with a band to give it a finished look.
Each blue (CTMH Pacifica Cardstock) rose, is inked with CTMH Black Ink, as well as the 3D centers on the Gerbera Daisies. Each flower has a black pearl in the center. The flowers are rolled, or stacked, and once the glue was dried, they were pinned into the styrofoam ball. A little bit of liquid glass was used to make sure they stuck to the styrofoam ball. White Stephanotis flowers were added to provide a little bit of color.
Thanks for viewing this DIY Wedding Project and be sure to check back tomorrow for another one!!
