I am still working on the introduction for the instructions. I used 6 sheets of Colonial White, 4 sheets of Bamboo, 6 sheets of Tulip, and 5 sheets of Black cardstock. I haven't added ribbon or any other embellishments yet. on the 17th set I distressed the black photo mats with the edge distressor to make them stand out a little bit more. Anyone can recreate these with the help of the Cherish and Imagine books. I'm going to try and rework it now that the CTMH papers are two sided!

34 layouts using Creative Basics Silhouette
Hey everyone! I decided to attempt my 34layouts using a different paper packet. This time I used the CTMH Creative Basics Silhouette paper. I used CTMH White Daisy cardstock as my base pages. The cardstock colors are Colonial White, Bamboo, Black, and Tulip (all CTMH). I distressed all edges with Dessert Sand ink!

Getting Organized
I apologize for not posting anything new this past weekend for you all. I was suppose to attend a crop on Saturday night, but by the time I finished editing the pictures from Hawaii it was getting late and I just decided to stay home. I've decided to sit down and work on my photos! I have at least 4,000 that need edited and printed, now not all of these may have turned out right so the number might drop. Either way, I have to go through a lot of photos!! Hopefully I will be able to stay on top of things once I get caught up and if I hold true to this challenge I will be done in no time!
I will still attempt to make a few things on the weekend and post them....so keep checking back!

Valentine's fun with Amy!!
I was on my way to get something for my Mom and myself and was so close to my best friend Amy's that I stopped by her house for the night and we had a little fun with the valentine's punches by Martha Stewart and our CTMH stamps!!
These are the cards and layout that we came up with (mostly Amy's creativity, I bring the idea of what to make and help choose layouts)!!!
Card number one! Uses More to Adore paper, Key to My Heart Stamp set, Valentine Lace Martha Stewart Punch, Mini Heart Scallop Martha Stewart Punch, and CTMH Cardstock and Ribbon: Chocolate, Blush, Colonial White.

Card number two!

Christmas and Cricut
What better to do than play with your Cricut when you are on vacation and visiting family!! I went through my cartidges and picked out a few things to cut and was showing my Mom how it worked! My Step-dad thought it was really cool and started asking what all the machine could do. I set it to cut and walked away. I went to go back into the kitchen and the dogs ran ahead of me. Milo started barking at the cricut because he didn't know what it was!! LOL, silly dog!
These next pictures are from the Christmas Solutions cartridge:

I decided that I wanted to cut out all but the first Tinkerbell's from the Tinkerbell and Friends cartridge. To get them to fit most of them are rather small. If you zoom in on the picture you will see that only one has the eyes on it. The cricut just tore them apart and they are way to small for me to handle. I'll use my white gel pen later to replace the white cardstock for the eyes!

New Martha Stewart Punches
Martha Stewart Valentine Punches hit the Michael's website so I headed to the store to purchase them, only to find out that they weren't on the shelves yet!! I asked an employee and they were in the back because they didn't know where or how to display them!! I was able to find four of the five punches (I got the fifth one later!). Here's a shot of the four I had at the time I took these pictures!!

This is a shot of the mini heart scallop punch compared to the SU scallop edge punch on the bottom left and the Fiskar's threading water edge punch! Just so that you can see how tiny the scallops and hearts are!!
