1st Year Flipbook

I was asked by a co-worker to create a cute flipbook to be filled with random photos representing his daughter's first year. I showed him many paper options and he chose the CTMH Whoops-a-daisy paper packet. It turned out really cute!!

Just the beginnings!!!!

Before I posted about a 30 page layout book for Mother's Day. I have cut this template three times, each with a slight difference. Two with the same CTMH paper pack (Silhouette) but with difference accent colors, and then the third was with CTMH Paper Pack Bella. Below are 4 of the 30 Bella layouts fully embellished and ready for pictures!! Hope you enjoy!!

Updates!!

I apologize for being MIA lately. I've been here and there and not home much recently. Holidays and Celebrations/Special Events have snuck on me and I haven't had a chance to get all of my photos organized, and those related to my blog posted. Today is the lucky day, as soon my weekends will be crazy again for a while! I have gone back through my photos and found images dating back to April!

I've posted 4 other posts this weekend!! Please scroll down and take a look!! I'll be sure to update my 30 layouts using the Silhouette paper as I continue to work on them. I may need to take a few weeks and catch up on photos first!!

Thanks for checking back and being patient with me!! Feel free to leave comments!

Latest Project ~ still under construction

A fellow CTMH Consultant created a 30 page layout book for her Mother for Mother's Day. She was nice enough to share her template with us fellow consultants. Since I have recently attended a wedding, I'm using the template to create layouts for all of the pictures I took. I'm using the Silhouette Level 2 Paper Packet and Petal Cardstock as my added color. I am still working on editing the photos and getting them printed, so in the mean time I'm preparing the layouts. I have pre-cut all of the B&T paper, the cardstock, and the extra carstock pieces to "finish" them off. Nothing is glued down at this point as I want to choose embellishments first. In order to choose embellishments I need to choose the photos for each layout. In the meantime, I have distressed all of the edges of the carstock with black ink. The black carstock will have the edges sanded as our CTMH White Daisy ink takes too long to dry! ;~)

Here is a picture of all 30 layouts stretched across my living room floor!!

Here is a close-up of the first two-page layout:

Here is a close-up of another layout: I decided to only corner round two of the sides of my square to give it different look.

Mother's Day and a Birthday!

My brother's birthday and Mother's Day were within a few days of each other, so we celebrated both at once! Below is the picture of the cake I made/decorated for my brother!

I used CTMH products to make his birthday card. I used the Tinkerin' Level 2 Paper Packet, stamp sets: C1353 Gear Up and C1354 Robot Power, and Cranberry ribbon.

The inside of the card:

For my Mother's Day card I used the Emporium Creative Basics kit, stamp sets: D1261 Simple Beauty (on the inside) and the March 2009 Stamp of the Month Butterfly Wings. The top piece on the front of the card is Crystal Blue Textured cardstock with some random stamping. I used the Storybook Cricut Cartridge to cut out the label in the center of the card.

An inside look:

April 2009 Crop Layouts

Here are pictures of two layouts I created at the crop I attended in April 2009.

This first layout uses Simple Pleasures Level 2 Paper Packet from CTMH. I also embellished the page with Pewter brads.

This layout uses the Caprice Level 2 Paper Packet from CTMH. I also used the Mini-Medley Chocolate Collection to embellish both pages.

Hawaii Layouts

Sorry that I didn't post an update last weekend. I used some of my premade layouts and ended up getting 34 pages done; minus titles, journaling, and embellishments of course!! ;o)

Eventually I will go back and finish all of these layouts. For now I just want to get them put together and get some help figuring out what I should title them and such!

Enjoy!
