Creative Basic Evensong Flip Book

What happens when you get together with a good friend/CTMH consultant with an idea to make a flip book? You end up spending 14 hours in the basement working on a beautiful flip book that no longer closes properly because of all of the embellishments you added along the way!! Amy Keller and I got together over the weekend and came up with this beauty! We got the original design of the Flip Book from Amy Celona. Thanks Amy Celona! Creative Basics 34 layouts

So apparently CTMH was claiming that they were challenged to see how many items they could make using the creative basic silhouette package. They came up with 50 cards and 6 layouts, but they added a bunch of cardstock and embellishments; with the total cost at just under $50.

I am more of a scrapbooker than a card maker, so I challenged myself to see how many layouts I could come up with without going over the budget they spent on theirs. Utilizing the Cherish and Imagine book, I came up with 34 layouts. I used 4 different color cardstock pages, and made it cheaper by using bulk colonial white cardstock as my base pages. I have not yet embellished any of these pages, but plan to. With just what is pictured below, and adding a sponge dauber and the hollyhock ink pad....this workshop only costs $35!!

Page Kits

These are some page kits I put together for my Mom for her birthday. I was going to embellish them with stamps and accessories, but I didn't want her to be forced into using the pages for particular photos. I'm going to eventually embellish mine, but wait until she chooses photos to help her embellish hers!!

I'm not sure why the first two photos have decided to rotate on me, they aren't this way on my computer. I'll fix that later!!

These are pages I had done for a CTMH disney swap!!


Piglet 12 x12: There are two variations of the piglet page to utilize all of the stickers on the stickers sheets I had bought. I received my Pooh and Friends cricut cartridge after I made these pages. I used paper from CTMH More to Adore. I used my cricut to cut out the Piglet title.

Pizza Planet 12x12: I used the CTMH Good Times paper packet and some rub-ons and stickers to decorate. I used my cricut to cut out the title.

Pluto 6x6: I used my cricut and markers to create the paw print paper. I used my cricut to cut Pluto, the fire hydrant, and the bones.

Peter Pan 12x12: I used the CTMH Good Times paper, and stickers to decorate this page.

Piglet 6x6: There are two variations to this layout to utilize all rub-ons. I used my Friendship Word Puzzle stamp set from CTMH to create the patterned paper. I used my cricut to cut out the title, and the other decorations are stickers and rub-ons!

Autographs 12x12: I used the CTMH Giggles & Grins paper pack. I used my cricut design studio to create an autograph patterned paper, and then used the cricut marker to produce it.

Magic Kingdom 12x12: I used the Life Delight's paper pack, blush, chocolate, sweet leaf, lilac mist, amethyst, and sunny yellow card stock for colors. I used my Cricut to cut out the ticket, castle, and Magic Kingdom wording! I distressed everything in chocolate ink.

Minnie Mouse 12x12: I used the CTMH Giggles & Grins paper pack. I used my cricut to cut out Minnie, her name, and the heart. I went back with a white gel pen to make the dots on her bow and dress. I distressed the red heart and red cardstock with cranberry ink.
